What Helps Me Stay?

My Stay-in-School Plan — agree what helps before a difficult moment becomes the rest of the day.

NOTICE EARLYTRY SUPPORTREVIEW TOGETHER

Make the plan before you need it.

Sometimes wanting to go home starts with small warning signs. If you and school know what those signs look like, support can start earlier.

Before I ask to go home, please try the support we have agreed. This plan is about helping you stay when it is safe and manageable — not forcing you to remain in an unsafe situation.

If I feel unsafe

If you feel unsafe because of bullying, threats, abuse, harm or another immediate safety concern, the priority is to tell a trusted adult and follow safeguarding procedures. This Stay Plan should never be used simply to keep you in a situation that is unsafe.
